He could originally only fly by using a jetpack and rocket belt, but since his resurrection and metamorphosis into the All-New, All-Different Wonder Man he can now fly without either device, flying at speeds in excess of 700 mph. He can also leap to huge heights and discharge ionic energy at will to disrupt or disable his opponents.
Other abilities included the ability to recharge his batteries with electricity, absorbing it from his surroundings, and he is able to see beyond the visible spectrum of light. In addition, he can also generate magnetic force fields to shield himself and others from kinetic energy.
